Resident Services Directors are the heart of each Arrow Senior Living community’s energy and engagement. Written specifically into the job description of a Resident Services Director is the need for this person to be a “Culture Creator.” This means they set the tone of the community’s events and the engagement of residents who call the community home. Providing engagement in senior living is more than just playing the Bingo.
Our Resident Services Directors recognize that beyond the events, essential amenities, and daily care lies the heartbeat of every community – a culture that fosters connection, purpose, and a sense of belonging.
Each monthly calendar features events tailored to the residents’ interests, focusing on key programming elements: physical, cognitive, spiritual, sensory, and social. We always celebrate major holidays in a big way, incorporating traditions from various cultures based on our residents’ backgrounds. At Arrow Senior Living, we uniquely celebrate a variety of Arrow Traditions each month, including Black History Month, Mom and Pop Small Business Day, Be Kind to Humankind Week, and many more!
Why does culture matter so much in the world of senior living? It’s because culture isn’t just about passing time; it’s about enriching the journey. It’s about fostering an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to live their lives to the fullest, regardless of age or physical limitations.
Saint Charles, Missouri-based Arrow Senior Living manages a portfolio of communities that offer varying levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Each and every senior living community supports residents by focusing on dignity, respect, and quality of life. The programs and amenities offered are selected to provide only the highest standard of quality and comfort.
