(O’ FALLON) – Assisted Living at the Meadowlands proved to be a huge success after becoming 100 percent occupied in under four months of it’s grand opening back in August.

The Meadowlands was developed as a gracious, full service assisted living and memory care community and true community and resident-centered care alternative to skilled nursing and nursing home facilities.

The community was developed through a joint venture between local investors and St. Charles County-based Turnaround Solutions for Senior Housing.

Turnaround Solutions, LLC has made its presence to the world of professional networking by launching a group on LinkedIn.  The group is used to discuss recent topics ranging from challenges to individual successes.

The group features best practices in senior housing sales and marketing for independent living, assisted living and memory care services.  It is intended for those involved or interested in turnaround opportunities–through increasing sales and operational performance and adaptive re-use and renovation of senior housing communities.  The group is lead by the company’s CEO, Stephanie Harris.

Turnaround Solutions, LLC, consulting company for senior housing, announced the promotion of Maggie McConnell to Regional Director.  She will be overseeing Midwest managed properties.

McConnell joined the company in 2007.  McConnell received her bachelors from Drury University and her Masters in English from Missouri State University.

Arrow Senior Living has agreed to manage Assisted Living at Meadowlands, which is planned to open in April 2009. This community will offer 86-beds of assisted living and memory care. The property will include the St. Louis Metropolitan area’s first NIH Environments of Healing Research and specialized programming in dementia care.
